With the four highest seeds left standing, the 2025 Women’s Frozen Four is shaping up to be all-time classic.
In the first semifinal, No. 2 Ohio State takes on No. 3 Cornell. The Buckeyes are still alive in their quest for back-to-back titles after winning the championship last year. The Big Red, meanwhile, are set for their first Frozen Four appearance since 2019.
Then, in the nightcap, No. 1 Wisconsin battles No. 4 Minnesota. It’s the sixth meeting this season between the two blue bloods, and the Badgers have won all five so far — including a 4-3 victory to secure the WCHA Final Faceoff title.
