The Malvern Winter Classic outdoor high school hockey game takes place this afternoon at the Kew Gardens rink in the Beach.
This year’s game is set for Friday, Feb. 7, starting at 1:30 p.m. and will see the Malvern Collegiate girls team host their opponents from Lawrence Park Collegiate.
It’s a beautiful winter’s day at the moment with the sun shining brightly and local hockey fans are invited out to the Kew Gardens rink to cheer on the Malvern girls in this game.
The game promises to be an entertaining affair as Malvern and Lawrence Park are currently ranked as the two girls high school hockey teams by the Toronto District School Board.
The Kew Gardens rink is located at the south end of Kew Gardens Park, 2075 Queen St E.
