The New York Rangers go into Boston on Saturday afternoon with one of the NHL’s best road records as they take a shot at the Bruins at TD Garden. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET with TV coverage on ABC and streaming on-demand.
How to watch Bruins vs. Rangers on TV and stream without cable:
Bruins vs. Rangers: The matchup
The Rangers have three times as many wins on the road (15) as they do at their own Madison Square Garden (5), but they’re also looking to pull out of a road slump. New York is 1-3-1 over its past five away games and is 1-3-2 over its past six games overall, the lone victory in that stretch coming as underdogs to the Florida Panthers in the NHL Winter Classic. Last time out, the Rangers suffered a 5-2 defeat at home to the Buffalo Sabres despite logging more shots, hits, power play opportunities and faceoffs won.
The Bruins are looking to pull themselves more permanently out of a bumpy stretch of games of their own as they claim three wins in their past four on the heels of a six-game losing streak. Boston sits at 23-19-2 on the season and 13-8-1 at TD Garden, sitting in sixth place in the Atlantic Division and 11th in the Eastern Conference pecking order, three spots ahead of the visiting Rangers.
