It’s officially that time of year — a conference champion will soon be crowned at the annual ACC field hockey tournament.
After an intense regular season, the ACC officially announced the bracket and seeds for the highly anticipated postseason tournament.

Once again, North Carolina earned the No. 1 slot, despite being co-regular-season champions with Virginia and Wake Forest. The Tar Heels finished with a +12 goal differential to win the tiebreaker, and will now try for their ninth consecutive ACC title. 
Following North Carolina in the seeding are Virginia, Wake Forest, Duke and California. Of the nine ACC field hockey programs, only eight qualified for the tournament field — Boston College is absent.

The 2025 ACC field hockey tournament will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and conclude with the championship game on Friday, Nov. 7.
Here is a look at the seedings for the 2025 ACC field hockey tournament. Boston College finished ninth in the standings and did not make the field.
