The United States men’s and women’s hockey teams head to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics with a lot of buzz surrounding them.
Why? Well, it’s the first time since the Sochi 2014 Games that NHL players will wear the iconic Team USA uniform on the men’s side, while Hilary Knight and Co. look to carry their hot streak and world championship title over into this year’s Games.
But to reach the top of the podium, both teams will likely have to take down Canada, the other favorite for both fields.
The big game for the women’s team comes on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 2:10 p.m. ET, while both men’s teams wouldn’t face each other until the playoffs. In addition to Knight, the women’s team features the likes of Kendall Coyne Schofield, Alex Carpenter and Megan Keller, while the men’s includes Brady (Ottawa Senators) and Matthew Tkachuk (Florida Panthers), Quinn Hughes (Minnesota Wild) and Jack Eichel (Vegas Golden Knights) among others.
The men’s side of the tournament features three four-team groups, while the women’s field consists of two five-team groups.
