BRAINTREE – Star senior midfielder Kayla Bohlin estimates she and her three co-captains spent about 30 additional minutes talking with coach Erin Stickle about next steps after Wellesley’s field hockey team dropped a five-goal loss to Walpole in its season opener back at the start of September.
It’s an interesting balance, not taking such a loss to the two-time defending Division I state champions too harshly, while also holding the Raiders to the standard that helped them reach the program’s first Final Four appearance last fall.
