Captain Clayton Keller enters the night riding a three-game assists streak. Keller’s 73 points (23 goals, 50 assists) are tenth in the NHL, and he is far and away Utah’s leading scorer. His 50 assists are a career-high, and his next helper will move Keller into fifth place in NHL history for a franchise’s inaugural season.
Nick Schmaltz’s 50 points (15 goals, 35 assists) is second. Schmaltz and Barrett Hayton join Keller on three-game point streaks. Fleet-footed Logan Cooley has burst onto the scene with Utah, tallying 17 goals and 30 assists while becoming one of the club’s most exciting skaters and puck handlers.
