Despite Smith Entertainment Group’s best effort to keep the team-name voting a concealed process, the three potential logos have been leaked online.
Utah Hockey Club, Utah Mammoth and Utah Outlaws were presented to the public as the final three names in the running for Salt Lake City’s new NHL team. However, only fans who were at Delta Center for the home games this week could see the logos while voting on the in-arena iPads.

That is, until Monday morning when they all surfaced on X formerly known as Twitter.
Fans were asked to put their phones on a table when casting their vote at Delta Center to protect the spreading of the images, but they got out nonetheless.
Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers will be the last opportunity Utah fans have to vote for their team’s official identity. The surveys were open for the Club’s last four home matchups before the 4 Nations Face-Off break.
Smith Entertainment Group said the results of the survey and final team name will be announced after the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.
