The stage is set for the Fargo Regional Final of the 2025 NCAA Hockey Tournament, where the UMass Minutemen will meet Western Michigan at Scheels Arena. 
UMass advanced to the final after a thrilling 5-4 comeback win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers in overtime, with Aydar Suniev scoring the game-winning goal. 
Western Michigan, meanwhile, defeated the Minnesota State Mavericks in a double-overtime game, with Grant Slukynsky scoring the winning goal. 
The matchup promises to be an exciting one, with UMass’s high-powered offense, led by Suniev and Cole O’Hara, facing off against Western Michigan’s stout defense, which features standout goalie Hampton Slukynsky. 
The winner of the matchup gets a ticket to the 2025 Frozen Four.
