MLB team ready to show up to support hockey counterparts
Even the guys that play on grass know the two best words in the Stanley Cup Playoffs: Game Seven.
The Toronto Blue Jays are hyped and ready for Sunday’s game when their hockey-playing brethren, the Toronto Maple Leafs, will host the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers with a trip to the Eastern Conference Final on the line.

The puck drops at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday (7:30 p.m. ET; CBC, TVAS, SN, TNT, truTV, MAX) with the winner advancing to face the Carolina Hurricanes for the right to play in the 2025 Stanley Cup Final.
“Go Leafs, baby!” Blue Jays infielder Ernie Clement says while donning a white No. 91 John Tavares jersey. “Let’s go! Game 7, this is it.”
Clement even warmed up on the field wearing the jersey.

First baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. made sure he let his buddies know he would be there in person rooting them on.
“Go Leafs Go!” Guerrero Jr. said in the video. “See you later. I’m gonna be there.”
Guerrero Jr. and Clement, of course, had to finish their own athletic endeavor in Toronto, hosting the Detroit Tigers on Sunday afternoon.
The Maple Leafs won the first two games of the best-of-7 series before losing three straight. They won 2-0 in Game 6 on Friday to force Game 7.
