It is a slightly quieter end to the week than usual in Week 19, with just three games scheduled on Sunday.

In Kirkcaldy, a crucial clash sees Fife Flyers welcome Dundee Stars to the Auld Barn. Both teams sit 11 points outside a playoff place, level on 16 points. Dundee do have games in hand, but with only 27 remaining compared to Fife’s 23, both sides need to win at least six more games than Coventry between now and the end of the season. Defeat here would leave the losing side facing a significantly steeper climb.
In Coventry, the Blaze host Glasgow Clan at the Skydome. Recent results have seen Coventry move to within two points of Clan, albeit having played one game more. A home win would keep the Blaze at least 11 points clear of the playoff cut line, while Clan could draw level with Guildford in sixth with victory. It is Clan’s second road game of the weekend after visiting Manchester on Friday night.
The night concludes in Guildford, where the Flames play their second home game of the weekend against Cardiff Devils. Guildford won both meetings between the sides over New Year, and a win over Fife on Saturday moved them to 31 points from 29 games to remain sixth. With Belfast not in action on Sunday, the Devils could move joint-top of the league with a win, albeit having played two games more.
