Oskar Lindblom
it is a ritual for the NHL to acknowledge Hockey Fights Cancer awareness each season, and everytime the Flyers have had one since Oskar Lindblom’s diagnosis, I always seem to think of him. I’m happy he continues to beat Cancer, and can play the sport he has come to love and know.
Athletes are human too. Lindblom is always happy, upbeat, and in good spirits daily. It’s tough for a team to lose that type of upbeat personality in the locker room. Whatever the case maybe, Lindblom its always great to see you back home, and on the ice. Everyone remain #OskarStrong. We are in this fight together with Lindblom. That bell being rung when Oskar was done treatments was the most beautiful noise I have ever heard.
