With the return of the National Hockey League’s top players to the Olympic Winter Games for the first time since 2014, all eyes are on Milan Cortina 2026 as Team USA looks to secure its first gold in men’s hockey since 1980.
The 20 skaters tasked with that challenge hit the ice in Europe on Monday in an open practice, giving the press their first look at where they may line up later this week in round robin play. Team Canada unveiled their lines as well.
USA men’s hockey opens their journey for Olympic gold on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 3:10 p.m.

Then, on Wednesday, the fun continues at 8:00 p.m. ET with the 2026 AHL All-Star Challenge—a four team, 3-on-3 round robin tournament—all leading to one eight-minute 3-on-3 championship finale game.
