SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Sunday Josh Doan joined David James on Talkin Hockey and then Monday Doan went out and registered a pair of assists in a 5-2 win over the first place Winnipeg Jets.
Doan, who’s dad was a wildly popular and successful Arizona Coyote player, grew up in the Valley of the Sun, played at Arizona State and made his NHL debut and scored his first goal for the Coyotes before relocating to Utah.
Doan explains how his parents raised an NHL
player but also encouraged him to play multiple sports, until he focused on hockey as a teenager.
He talked about going down to the minor leagues this season and how his time in the AHL
prepared him to return to the NHL.
