What a play by Connor McDavid to undress Aaron Ekblad before setting up Leon Draisaitl for his third goal of the Final. The power-play goal makes it 3-2 Oilers.

P1 7:23 – Oilers 3, Panthers 2
Oh my GOODNESS! This is one of the goals of this Stanley Cup playoffs.
Connor McDavid with the stick drag through the Florida Panthers defender. He feeds Leon Draisaitl who scores on the power play.
What a play! Oilers lead again.
P1 7:47 – Panthers 2, Oilers 2
Let me know if you've heard this before. Sam Bennett hitting another goalie.
The Florida Panthers forward falls into Stuart Skinner, landing on the goalie's leg. Skinner was slow to get up, before a scrum ensues.
Looks like Skinner is going to stay in the game. Bennett gets the interference penalty and the Oilers get their second power play.
It was Bennett who hit Anthony Stolarz before the Maple Leafs goalie was forced to miss nearly the entire second round.
P1 8:23 – Panthers 2, Oilers 2
This game is absolutely bonkers. What a tic-tac-toe play.
Nate Schmidt finds Eetu Luostarinen in the offensive zone, who does a cross ice pass to Seth Jones, who buries the puck in the wide open net.
Game 2 is tied once again. Wow!
With that goal, Evan Bouchard is up to 78 playoff points in his career. That passes Charlie Huddy for second in scoring by an Oilers defenseman. Assistant coach Paul Coffey is first with 103 points.
Bouchard is 10th on the franchise list overall.

Pretty miserable defense there by the Panthers, who were just sort of standing in front of their own net. Not only were they not defending anyone, but they also screened their own goalie on the shot.

P1 9:13 – Oilers 2, Panthers 1
Another odd-man rush for the Edmonton Oilers. On three-on-two, Viktor Arvidsson fires a shot on target. Sergei Bobrovsky makes the critical stick save, deflecting the puck out of play.
Massive save for Bobrovsky, who looks shaky early in Game 2. And this Panthers defense needs to be better.
Evan Bouchard scores at four-on-four on his second opportunity following an Aleksander Barkov shot block. That's Bouchard's second point of the game.

P1 10:41 – Oilers 2, Panthers 1
What a BLAST from Evan Bouchard. He fires a wrist shot in the slot, beating Sergei Bobrovsky to give the Oilers the lead.
Wowza!
P1 11:11 – Panthers 1, Oilers 1
After Stuart Skinner stops play, Darnell Nurse and Matthew Tkachuk push and shove following the whistle. There have been about four scrums following the whistle to start Game 2, after it being largely absent in Game 1.
There's two minutes of four-on-four hockey as Nurse and Tkachuk sit in the penalty box.
Sergei Bobrovsky came out to challenge that shot and was bit off his angle. You could see he lost his net based on his reaction when the puck found the net. He saw it sailing wide of his glove and thought it would be wide of the far side post for sure, but it was perfectly placed by Evander Kane.

Evander Kane gets space coming down the left wing and beats Sergei Bobrovsky glove side to tie the score 1-1.

P1 12:21 – Panthers 1, Oilers 1
Evander Kane didn't score last year in the Stanley Cup Final. He's on the board in Game 2.
A big hit from Viktor Arvidsson in the neutral zone leads to Kane's blazing wrist shot that beats Sergei Bobrovsky.
This crowd is absolutely electric at Rogers Place. Game 2 is tied.
P1 12:59 – Panthers 1, Oilers 0
Oh my, what a couple of saves at either end. Sergei Bobrovsky denies Trent Frederic.
Then down the ice, Stuart Skinner gets a piece of Eetu Luostarinen's backhand shot.
P1 14:21 – Panthers 1, Oilers 0
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins steps back onto the ice. That's a big kill for the Edmonton Oilers.
Not much action for the Panthers on their brief power play. Stuart Skinner made a nice save to keep it a one-goal game.
P1 14:59 – Panthers 1, Oilers 0
The Florida Panthers have 36 seconds left on the power play. Can they score to make it a 2-0 lead?

Sam Bennett gives Florida an early lead with a power-play goal thanks to a brilliant pass by Florida defenseman Nate Schmidt. Tkachuk recovered a puck in front of the net and threw it across to Schmidt, who delayed and sent the puck back over to Bennett on the weak side. Skinner went sliding across but had no chance. Great play by Schmidt, who is up to 10 points in these playoffs.
It's still very loud, despite Sam Bennett opening the scoring on a Florida power play.

P1 16:28 – Panthers 1, Oilers 0
That power play doesn't last long for the Oilers. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins upends Seth Jones, getting called for the tripping penalty.
There will be four-on-four hockey for 1:22 before the Panthers get their second power play of Game 2. Not ideal for Edmonton.
