Monday’s scheduled game between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Los Angeles Kings was postponed after much of Ohio received at least a foot of snow late Saturday and throughout Sunday.
The makeup date, according to the NHL, will be March 9 in Columbus, with the game time to be announced in the near future.

For much of Monday, Franklin County, where Columbus is located, and surrounding counties were under a Level 3 travel advisory, meaning only emergency personnel are allowed to travel the roads.
The Kings are in the middle of a six-game trip that is expected to resume Tuesday at the Detroit Red Wings. The rescheduled game against the Blue Jackets is now one day before they are set to begin a four-game trip in Boston.
The Blue Jackets are next scheduled to host the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday. The makeup game will force Columbus to play at home on March 9, then at the Tampa Bay Lightning the following night.
An earlier version of this article misstated the number of postponements the Kings have had this season. There has been only one.
