Insiders Status:
If Ingram was to get the start in this contest, Utah would be a slam dunk pick here as he has been stellar in the early going. He has posted a 4-0-1 mark in his five starts this season. Vejmelka, on the other hand, has started just one game so there could be a rust factor, and the Hockey Club failed to put anything on the board in support of him in that contest. Ottawa comes in off a win over Tampa Bay and they should have Ullmark between the pipes for this contest. The Senators are capable of doing damage offensively and they have the firepower to take care of business. Look for Ottawa to claw out a win on the road here.
Insiders Status:
Ottawa has seen the under post a 3-2-0 mark in their five games in relation to the total this season entering Monday night. The Senators have posted an average total of 7.40 goals per game on the season though that number drops to five goals in their lone road contest this season. Utah has seen the over post a 4-2 mark this season in their six games this season entering Monday night. The Hockey Club has posted an average total of seven goals per game this season. That number falls to an average of five goals per game on the season on home ice. Lean toward the under in this contest.
