Rangers vs Lightning Prediction, Picks & Same-Game Parlay for Tonight’s NHL Game – Covers.com

As a strong road team, the Rangers will face a tough test against a resilient Lightning squad determined to extend its winning streak to three games.
NHL
The New York Rangers are one of the best road teams in the league so far with a 7-1-1 record, and they’ll take that into Tampa Bay on Wednesday night.
The Lightning have won two straight and seven of their last eight, though, so it should be a good matchup for NHL on TNT.
My Rangers vs. Lightning prediction is expecting a low-scoring game in Tampa Bay.
Read on as I break down my NHL picks for Wednesday, November 12.

Rangers vs Lightning Best bet: Under 5.5 (+105)
It isn’t a back-to-back situation for either of these teams, so we should be getting both starters in net. It’s a matchup between two of the best in the league in Igor Shesterkin for the New York Rangers and Andrei Vasilevskiy for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Shesterkin is 5-6-2 with a 2.46 goals-against average and .908 save percentage, and Vasilevskiy has similar numbers, going 5-4-2 with a 2.55 GAA and .907 SV%.
Both teams have trended heavily to the Under this season. The Rangers have gone under the total in 11 of 17 games, with the under hitting in nine of 15 Lightning games so far.
I’ll take the plus odds for Shesterkin and Vasilevskiy to go save for save on Wednesday night.

Brandon Hagel has taken a huge step forward in recent years for the Lightning. He went from 75 points (26 goals, 49 assists) two years ago to 90 points (35 goals, 55 assists) last season.
The winger is off to a solid start this year with 14 points in 15 games, and has 44 shots as well. He’s had at least three shots in six of his last seven games, with a point in seven of eight.
The New York Rangers have hit the Game Total Under in 46 of their last 86 games (+3.90 Units / 4% ROI). Find more NHL betting trends for Rangers vs. Lightning.
