The Ottawa Senators welcome the defending champion Florida Panthers to the Canadian Tire Centre tonight for an Atlantic Division showdown.
Jake Sanderson is on a roll as a playmaker, and my Panthers vs. Senators predictions are eyeing him to grab another helper.

Panthers vs Senators best bet: Jake Sanderson Over 0.5 assists (+125)
Jake Sanderson is proving to be one of the best offensive-minded defensemen in the league.
The 23-year-old has potted eight goals while tallying 24 assists. That’s second on the Ottawa Senators roster behind only Tim Stutzle.
The former fifth overall pick has cashed the Over in helpers in five consecutive appearances, finishing with one assist in each game.
Despite Ottawa’s three-game losing skid, Sanderson is certainly doing his part to contribute. Twelve of his assists have come at home in 21 contests as well.
Brady Tkachuk has missed a chunk of time this season due to injury, but he’s still putting up solid numbers. In 23 games, he’s tallied 21 points, and that includes eight goals.
Tkachuk has scored two of those goals in January so far, netting in two of his last three games.
Stutzle is putting up numbers, and he’s averaging 2.46 shots on goal per contest. The German has a relatively low total tonight at just 1.5 shots, so the Over screams value.
Stutzle has hit the Over in shots on net in four of his last five. He also had two SOG against the Florida Panthers already this season.
The Over is 4-1 across the Senators’ last five games. Find more NHL betting trends for Panthers vs. Senators.
