Panthers vs Bruins Prediction, Picks & Same-Game Parlay for Tonight’s NHL Game – Covers.com

Gilbert's prediction: Low-scoring affair in Brad Marchand's return to Beantown.
NHL
The Boston Bruins host the Florida Panthers in the first half of ESPN’s doubleheader on Tuesday night.
Both teams won their first three games before dropping their last four, and it’s a tough schedule spot for each team as well.
My Panthers vs. Bruins prediction is expecting a low-scoring game in Boston.
Read on for my NHL picks for Tuesday, October 21.

Panthers vs Bruins Best bet: Under 5.5 (-110 at Fanatics)
The Florida Panthers are at the end of a long five-game road trip in which they’ve scored four goals in as many games thus far. They had two in Philadelphia to start the trip, then one in Detroit and New Jersey before getting shut out in Buffalo over the weekend.
Florida hasn’t scored much, but it also isn’t giving up a ton either. The Sabres and Devils each scored three goals, with the Red Wings getting their third and fourth goals on an empty net. The same goes for the Flyers, with Philadelphia scoring two empty-net goals in its 5-2 win.
The Boston Bruins have also been struggling to score. Outside of a five-goal outburst in Vegas, they’ve scored six goals in their last three games, and nine in their last four.
Finally, we should have a great goalie matchup as well between Sergei Bobrovsky and Jeremy Swayman. They’re both top-tier netminders and neither team is generating a ton of offense recently.

We’re zigging and zagging to get this three-leg same-game parlay up to +770.
I’m taking Brad Marchand to get a point in his return to Boston. He had a five-game point streak snapped last game and has six points in seven games this season.
But I’m going the other way with the Bruins to win a low-scoring game at home. It’s threading the needle a bit, since we need Marchand to have a point while his team scores two goals or fewer, but it’s certainly possible given how these teams are playing.
