Men’s ice hockey took center stage in the 2026 Winter Olympics, producing a thrilling tournament.
The world’s best players descended on Milan, with NHL players finally able to represent their country at the Olympics after they were forced to sit out in 2018 and 2022. That meant Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby and more led Canada onto the ice, while Auston Matthews and Quinn Hughes were among the stars taking the ice for the United States.
In the end, it was the United States who came out victorious, winning gold in the condenced 12-day tournament.
