For the fourth time in modern history, Notre Dame hockey is playing an outdoor game.
The Fighting Irish (6-12, 1-9 Big Ten) are facing Penn State (7-9, 0-8 Big Ten) at historic Wrigley Field tonight, home to the MLB’s Chicago Cubs. It’s part of the “Frozen Confines” series that is seeing four Big Ten hockey games being played across two days. This, after the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues played at the ballpark this past Tuesday.
