We open NHL predictions with an Atlantic Division matchup between the Boston Bruins and Buffalo Sabres. Jeremy Swayman is the confirmed starter for Boston going into this one. The Bruins are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games, including two wins in a row. Morgan Geekie has tallied six goals and added three assists over the last 10 games.
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is the projected starter for the Sabres, who are 4-6 in the last 10 games. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Buffalo dropped a 3-1 decision to Boston in the first meeting of the season. Tage Thompson has been a bright spot with 22 goals and 18 assists for the Sabres.
Boston has been playing better as of late and Buffalo continues to struggle.


Prediction: Bruins win 4-2.

TV: MSG Buffalo; Fan Duel Sports South; ESPN+
Our featured game has the Hurricanes taking on the Rangers in a Metropolitan Division game. Carolina is expected to go with Frederik Andersen in between the pipes for this one. The Hurricanes are 6-2-2 in the last 10 games, but dropped their last game. Seth Jarvis has been strong as of late with seven goals and two assists over the past 10 games.
Igor Shesterkin is the confirmed starter for the Rangers, who are 6-1-3 in the last 10 games. However, the Blueshirts also dropped their last game earlier in the week. Adam Fox has been putting up the points with three goals and 37 assists for the Rangers.
Carolina seems to have New York’s number this season and should get the victory.
Prediction: Hurricanes win 3-2.
Time: 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: Hulu; ESPN+; Sportsnet
The last game of NHL predictions is a Stanley Cup Playoff rematch between the Dallas Stars and Vegas Golden Knights. Dallas is slated go with Jake Oettinger to get the start in net. The Stars are 6-4 in the last 10 games, including two wins a row. Wyatt Johnston is averaging a point a game with two goals and eight assists over the last 10 games.
Ilya Samsonov is the expected starter in between the pipes for the Golden Knights, who are 3-6-1 in the last 10 games. However, Vegas did pick up a victory last time out. Pavel Dorofeyev is also averaging a point a game with seven goals and three assists over the past 10 games.
This could be a post-season rematch, but we’ll see Vegas get the win in this one.
Prediction: Golden Knights win 4-3.
We wrap up NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go to our featured game for tonight’s props. Take Jason Robertson to score for Dallas in this game. On the Vegas side, go with Jack Eichel to get the over on 0.5 points.
