We open up NHL predictions with the Carolina Hurricanes looking to book a spot in the Eastern Conference Final. Frederik Andersen has been red-hot this post-season and will draw the start for the Hurricanes. The defence has shown a masterclass in limiting the Washington Capitals offence. Sebastian Aho leads the team in points with 10, but Andrei Svechnikov is topping the team in goals with seven.
Logan Thompson likely gets the call again in between the pipes for the Capitals. It’s been a slog on the offensive end for Washington in this series with only six goals scored in the first four games of this series. Thompson needs support from the forwards if the Capitals want to turn things around in the series. Dylan Strome has been a bright spot with 11 points.
Alex Ovechkin did score in the last game and that could get the team moving forward. Washington extends the series with a victory.
Prediction: Capitals win 3-2.

The final game of NHL predictions has the Stars looking to set up a rematch with the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference Final. Jake Oettinger has been the better goal in this series and will draw the start for Dallas. Mikko Rantanen has been unstoppable this post-season with nine goals, 10 assists and 19 points for the Stars.
Winnipeg has its back against the wall and needs better from Connor Hellebuyck. He did show flashes of his old self in Game 2, but it’s been a struggle in the other games. The Jets need to get production from other sources. Kyle Connor leads the team in points with 14 so far this post-season for Winnipeg.
Dallas has seemingly found the formula to beat Winnipeg. The Stars get the job done and set up another meeting with the Oilers.
Prediction: Stars win 4-1.
We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stick with our featured game for our preferred props. The over/under for this game is 5.5 and we think the under is the smart play.
As for individual props, go with Jason Robertson to get a power-play point in this game for the Stars. On the Jets side of things, go with Nikolaj Ehlers to keep things going with another goal.
