Our second game of NHL predictions has the Buffalo Sabres making the trip to take on the Philadelphia Flyers. Rookie Colten Ellis is slated to get the start for Buffalo, which is 6-4 in the last 10 games. The Sabres got a comprehensive 5-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets in the Monday Night Hockey on Prime Matchup. Alex Tuch is topping the team in assists (14) and points (23) so far for Buffalo.
Philadelphia is projected to give the nod to Daniel Vladar in goal for this game. The Czech goalie is off to a solid 10-5-1 start in his first season with the Flyers. Philadelphia is 6-3-1 in the last 10 games, but suffered a loss last time out. Trevor Zegras is also having a great first season in Philly with nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points.
Buffalo does have momentum, but Vladar has been a solid netminder, should he get the call.
Prediction: Flyers win 4-2.
