For this edition, we will look at the Minnesota Wild taking on the Vegas Golden Knights. We open up NHL predictions with the the New Jersey Devils taking on the Carolina Hurricanes. Jacob Markstrom is the projected starter for the Devils, who are haven’t played the Hurricanes since December 28. New Jersey has been dealing with injuries in the second half. However, the Devils did manage to get into the post-season. Jesper Bratt leads the team in assists (67) and points (88) this season.
Carolina is expected to go with Frederik Andersen in goal for this game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Hurricanes have been playing with different lineups after having clinched post-season play a while ago. Sebastian Aho is tops on the team in assists (45) and points (74).
Both teams are trying to get on track, but Carolina gets the victory.
Prediction: Hurricanes win 4-2.

We go to our featured game between the Wild and Golden Knights. Minnesota is slated to go with Filip Gustavsson in net for this game. The Wild have yet to win a game against the Golden Knights this season. However, Minnesota was dealing with injuries for most of the second half of the season. Players like Kirill Kaprizv, Jonas Brodin and Joel Eriksson Ek have each missed 30 games this season.
Adin Hill is the probable starter for Vegas, which is looking for its second Stanley Cup in three seasons. The Golden Knights have been excellent in the second part of the season and looked like one of the main Cup contenders. Pavel Dorofeyev was the team’s leading goal-scorer with 35 markers this season.
Vegas looks like a contender, but Minnesota does have its reinforcements. However, the Knights should get the win.
Prediction: Golden Knights win 5-2.
We round out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stay with our featured game for tonight’s props. On the Minnesota side, take Matt Boldy to get an assist in this game. For Vegas, go with Jack Eichel to get a power-play point in this one.
