Team Finland and Team Sweden hit the ice at the Bell Centre for their second game and the third game overall of the 4 Nations Face-Off. These teams have both started with a loss, and will need to come back with a winning effort, as this is a real short tournament. To get you set for a great Saturday of hockey action, here are our Finland vs. Sweden predictions.
I do not expect a ton of goals in this one. Combined, the two have scored just four goals in over 120 minutes of play. Sweden was able to score 3 in an overtime loss to Canada, while Finland only scored once in a blowout loss to USA. Goaltending will remain as good as they’ve seen so far as these teams are both equipped with strong goaltending trios. A common concern could be Finland’s depleted defense group, but make no mistake they are bruising and will make you pay. These teams have great offensive weapons, but neither compare to teams like Canada and USA. They will both enter this game with an elevated sense of urgency, which should increase this game’s physicality, shot blocks, grit and overall effort. There is less room for mistakes as there are high stakes, resulting in a much-shorter leash from the coaching staff. In turn, I think these factors will prevent lots of goals being scored. For our Finland vs. Sweden prediction, take the under 5.5.
Finland vs Sweden prediction: Under 5.5 (-120) available at time of publishing. Playable to -130.

There is no greater rivalry in hockey than Team USA vs Team Canada. For the last 9 years, hockey fans have been begging for a best-on-best tournament to watch generational talents like Auston Matthews, Nathan MacKinnon, Jack Hughes and Connor McDavid go head-to-head on the biggest stage. The 4 Nations tournament has already been filled with a ton of excitement and tonight in Montreal, that level will blow the roof off.
Canada avoided losing their opening matchup against Sweden thanks to some spectacular saves from Jordan Binnington in overtime and a goal from Mitch Marner. We know that Canada has some of the best players on their team, but one can argue that they don’t have as much depth as their rivals. Team USA has a deep offensive group and that was on full display against Finland, securing a 6-1 victory. We know the battle in this game will come down to goaltending. Binnington may have won the game, but he did allow some questionable goals. John Cooper hasn’t said who will get the start for this matchup, but even if Adin Hill is in goal, USA will get their chances and will find the back of the net.
The challenge for Canada is to score on Connor Hellebuyck. He’s been sensational for the Winnipeg Jets and did his job in Game 1. This game will have more physicality and emotion that we’ve seen so far, and if someone can’t control their emotions, it could lead to penalties. Canada had just one chance against Sweden and wasted no time finding the back of the net. I expect both teams to be disciplined, but even just a couple of power plays will help push them over. It’s currently sitting at 6.5 and should stay at that number as we approach puck drop. There is just too much skill on the ice for this to be a low-scoring affair. Both teams may want to feel eachother out to start, but once that’s done, the floodgates will open.
USA vs Canada preview: Over 6.5 available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.

An NHL parlay pick is a single bet in which you combine multiple selections, all of which have to win for the parlay bet to cash.
While NHL parlay picks are riskier than straight wagers, you can see considerably greater odds which increase with each selection you add to the parlay. Higher risk, but higher reward as you multiply the selections’ individual odds to calculate the NHL parlay’s combined odds.
Parlay bets are very popular amongst bettors and are used in many different strategies such as combining two or three big Moneyline favorites to enhance the odds when it’s poor value to place a straight wager on each pick.
The most common markets in NHL picks and parlays are Moneyline, Totals, and Puck Lines, with the last two markets offering odds around 6/1 (+600) for a three-team parlay and 12/1 (+1200) for a four-team parlay, with each selection individually priced around 10/11 (-110).
With multiple games played on any given game day, NHL parlays are a great way to have a wager and interest on multiple games on today’s best NFL parlay picks.
