Edmonton had overcome a 3-0 series deficit, but it was unable to complete what would have been the greatest comeback in hockey history.

The 2024 NHL Draft begins on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29 and it’s being held at the Sphere in Paradise, Nevada.

The NHL playoffs start on Saturday, April 20.
The 2024 Stanely Cup NHL Playoffs will be televised on ABC, ESPN, TBS, and TNT. We’ll provide the full NHL playoff TV schedule when it’s released.
There are 82 games played during the NHL season, ranging from October through May.
The 2024 NHL All-Star Game was held at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario on Feb. 3. The Toronto Maple Leafs served as host for the NHL All-Star Game in 2024, the first time since 2012 that a Canadian city hosted the All-Star Game.
The 2023-’24 NHL trade deadline was on Saturday, March 8, five days later than when the NHL trade deadline is typically held. The hope was this incentivizes teams to make more deals.
While an official date hasn’t been announced, the 2024 NHL Draft is expected to be held in June 2024. The tentative expectation is that the NHL Draft 2024 will be from June 28-29.
The 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs begin April 20.
