The Nashville Predators host the Utah Hockey Club on April 14 wrapping up their season series with the NHL’s newest franchise.
The Predators are coming off a 4-3 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on April 12. Jonathan Marchessault scored a goal in his first return to Vegas since signing with Nashville in the offseason.
Nashville (29-43-8, 66 points) is locked into the third-best odds for the NHL’s draft lottery. According to Money Puck, the Predators have an 11.5% chance of earning the top pick in the 2025 NHL draft.
Utah (37-30-13, 87 points) was eliminated from playoff contention last week. It is projected to finish between 12th and 16th in the standings, meaning it would not be eligible to win the top pick in the NHL’s draft lottery.
Clayton Keller leads Utah with 27 goals and 58 assists. Filip Forsberg leads the Predators with 31 goals and 42 assists.
The Predators will start Juuse Saros in net, while Utah will go with Karel Vejmelka.
The Nashville Predators vs. Utah Hockey Club game will be televised by FanDuel Sports Network South with streaming available via FUBO and ESPN+ (outside of the Nashville TV market).
