Saros stood tall with 34 saves on Monday but couldn’t hold back Ottawa’s late surge in a 5-2 loss. He’s dropped four straight and is struggling to find consistency, posting a 3-6-0 record in his last 10 with a 3.03 GAA and .894 save percentage.
On the other side, Mrazek got peppered for 39 saves in Chicago’s 5-1 loss to Florida. He’s had a rough go lately, winning just once in his last six (1-4-1) while posting a 4.03 GAA and .889 save percentage. Could we see more Arvid Soderblom soon?

With a 5-2 win over the Avalanche, the Predators improved to 18-27-7. Nashville covered the puck line as -1.5 goal favorites, and the total of 7 goals surpassed the pre-game line of 6.5.
All five of Nashville’s goals came from different players. The Avalanche scored first, but the Predators responded with five straight, including two empty-netters in the third period.
Nashville’s offense found the net five times in their 5-2 win over Colorado, with two of those goals coming on empty nets. The Predators were held scoreless in the first period before Steven Stamkos netted his second goal of the season on a power play. Colton Sissons followed with his first goal of the year.
Roman Josi added his first goal of the season, also on a power play, while Filip Forsberg scored his seventh on an empty net. Gustav Nyquist closed out the scoring with his fourth goal, also on an empty net. Nashville took 25 shots on goal and recorded 15 giveaways.
Defensively, the Predators allowed the first goal at 2:54 into the 2nd period and another at 17:43 in the 3rd, but they held the Avalanche scoreless otherwise, leading to a 5-2 win. Juuse Saros made 29 saves with a 93.5% save percentage. The Predators’ defense also recorded 4 takeaways and 23 hits.
Chicago improved to 16-32-6 with a 4-2 win over the Ducks. The Blackhawks covered the puck line as underdogs, with the total of 6 goals falling short of the pre-game line of 6.5 goals.
All four of Chicago’s goals came from different players. The Blackhawks held a 4-0 lead until the Ducks scored twice in the third period.
Chicago’s offense netted four goals in their 4-2 win over the Ducks, with Ryan Donato scoring his 7th goal of the season. Seth Jones added his 2nd goal, while Teuvo Teravainen found the net for the 4th time this year. Isaak Phillips also contributed with his 1st goal of the season.
Connor Bedard picked up three assists, bringing his total to 9 for the season. The Blackhawks fired 29 shots on goal and converted twice on the power play.
Defensively, the Blackhawks will look to carry over their performance from the previous game, where they allowed just two goals to Anaheim. Arvid Söderblom made 37 saves with a 95% save percentage. Chicago’s defense also contributed 6 takeaways and 5 hits. The Blackhawks will aim to tighten up in the 3rd period, where they gave up both goals to the Ducks.
When it comes to a moneyline wager, I’m going with the Blackhawks to defeat the Predators while playing at home. Given the current moneyline odds at +166.
If you’re looking to get a bet down on this matchup, we foresee the Blackhawks winning the underdog. However, if you’re not as confident in the Blackhawks straight-up, we’d still recommend placing a bet on them to cover the puck line.
If you’re looking at the over/under line set at 6 goals, our prediction is that this game will stay under, and we strongly advise placing a bet on a low scoring game in this one.
