If Leafs fans haven’t been raining down ‘Brady Sucks!’ cheers, they’ve been chanting ‘Ullmark!’ And they’ve done it again after Ullmark allowed his seventh goal of the series just now.

I've seen a lot of Morgan Rielly goals in this building and he was as fired up after that one as, well, ever.

P1 16:16 – Maple Leafs 1, Senators 0
An amazing pass from William Nylander to Morgan Rielly, who buries the puck in the net. For the second straight game, the Toronto Maple Leafs open the scoring.

If it wasn’t for that post, we’d be talking about an inauspicious start for the Senators’ defensive pairing of Nick Jensen and Thomas Chabot. Chabot created a turnover behind the net battling with Matthew Knies. Jensen had Marner in the slot, but the winger still got a shot off. Unlike Ottawa’s start in Game 1, where they were in control, their start feels a bit scrambly. Though we’re only minutes into the game.
The "Brady Sucks!" chants have rung out louder than the "Go Leafs Go!" chants to start the game. The hate feels real, early in Game 2.
P1 17:57 – Senators 0, Maple Leafs 0
WOW! Mitch Marner had Linus Ullmark beat but it fires off the post.
What a start for the Maple Leafs.
P1 18:10 – Senators 0, Maple Leafs 0
Pontus Holmberg had a point blank opportunity to open the scoring. But Linus Ullmark denies the scoring chance.
Another defensive breakdown for Ottawa nearly leads to a goal.

Brady and Matthew Tkachuk are playing playoff games on the same night for the first time. Brady is playing for the Ottawa Senators in Game 2 while Matthew is playing for the Florida Panthers in Game 1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
I asked their dad, Keith, who he’d root for if it was Brady versus Matthew in a series.
“I’ll be rooting for Anheuser-Busch. A lot of Bud Lights.”
