Nothing is better than a rivalry game. That is especially true in hockey. Sparks are expected to fly when the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens face off on April 12.
Two of the oldest teams in the NHL first met in 1917 and have battled in multiple regular season and playoff games. The Maples Leafs are 3-2 in the Stanley Cup Finals, while Montreal has won three straight playoff games against Toronto. The Canadiens lead the series with over 300 wins.
This season, Mitch Marner leads the Maple Leafs in points and assists, while William Nylander leads in goals. Nick Suzuki leads Montreal in points and assists, while Cole Caufield leads in goals.
