The Quad Cities Lady Blues is the 19U (high school) girls ice hockey team based in Davenport. On Saturday, Nov. 2, will play their first home game of the 2024-25 season at the River’s Edge, 700 W. River Drive, Davenport, according to a news release.
The Lady Blues will play the Glenview, Ill., Stars at 6 p.m. Parking and admission are free. Concessions will be available.
During this home opener, the Lady Blues will host a fundraiser for the team and The Gray Matters Collective, a mental-health awareness and suicide prevention movement. With hope, compassion, and community, The Gray Matters Collective aims to empower all people to take care of themselves and those around them.
Several fundraising activities are planned, such as a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, bake sale, and basket raffle. Donations are also welcome.
