Kings: Alex Laferriere, who skated in his 100th career NHL game on Nov. 16 against the Detroit Red Wings, becoming the 28th different skater––and third U.S.-born skater––from the 2020 NHL Draft to appear in 100 career games. Laferriere also became the 19th different Harvard Hockey alum to reach such mark. Laferriere enters Wednesday’s game third on the team in points with 15 (9-6=15). Of his nine goals, eight have come at even-strength. With eight even-strength goals (EVG) on the campaign, only the Capitals’ Connor McMichael (11) and the Rangers’ William Cuylle (9) have more EVGs this season among all skaters aged 25 or younger:
Jets: Former King Alex Iafallo, who enters Wednesday’s game coming off of a two-goal performance against the Minnesota Wild on Monday. Iafallo has notched eight points (4-4=8) this season with a +3 rating. Since being traded from the Kings to the Jets in the 2023 offseason, Iafallo has accumulated 35 points (15-20=35) in 104 games.
