Kings: Captain Anze Kopitar, who is set to skate in his 1,400th career NHL game – and 700th career home game – on Saturday. In doing so, Kopitar would become the 43rd skater in League history to reach such mark and the fourth active player to do so, joining Ryan Suter (1,470), Alex Ovechkin (1,444) and Brent Burns (1,440).
Wild: Marco Rossi, who netted a pair of goals in yesterday’s win in Anaheim as a part of a three-point night. Rossi, the former ninth overall draft pick in 2020 who had a career high 40 points (21-19=40) last season is already up to 23 points (9-14=23) in 26 games this season.
