Kings: Adrian Kempe, who scored his sixth and seventh goals of the campaign as part of his team-leading seventh multi-point performance of the season on Wednesday night at Ball Arena. Kempe’s 16 points (7-9=16) are the second most on the Kings through the first 18 games of the season, trailing only Anze Kopitar (5-15=20).
In his past six outings against the Red Wings, Kempe has registered five goals and seven points (5-2=7), dating back to Jan. 8, 2022.
Red Wings: Captain Dylan Larkin, who leads the Red Wings in goals with nine. Larkin’s nine goals ranks tied for ninth in the NHL. The Kings have held Larkin in check in his career versus LA, as he’s recorded nine points (6-3=9) in 16 games.
