Kings: The Kings’ leading goal-scorer, forward Alex Laferriere, who is set to suit up for the 99th NHL game of his career tonight with four points (1-3=4) in his past four games. With eight even strength goals (EVG) on the campaign, only Nikita Kucherov (10), Tage Thompson (10), Leon Draisaitl (9), Jack Roslovic (9), and Connor McMichael (9) have scored more EVGs than Laferriere. The native of Chatham, New Jersey, joins McMichael and Cole Caufield as the only three skaters 23 years of age or younger to tally at least eight goals at even strength.
Avalanche: Ivan Ivan, who became the first player in NHL history to have the same first name and last name when he made his NHL debut earlier this season. Ivan has notched five points (3-2=5) in 16 games this season and is averaging 11:31 TOI.
