We already know they make great teammates on the ice, now we know they’d make great teammates on the baseball diamond, too.
Chris Kreider and Jacob Trouba made their way to Angel Stadium on Friday to celebrate Ducks Night with the Los Angeles Angels. The duo showed off their chemistry with the ceremonial first pitch, when Kreider threw a strike to Trouba. Anaheim Ducks mascot Wild Wing watched from the pitcher’s mound.

The two were rocking custom Angels jerseys and special Ducks Night ballcaps for the first pitch. Wild Wing, of course, showed up in his classic outfit, hockey pads and all.

This season will be a reunion for Kreider and Trouba, who spent nearly six years together with the New York Rangers. Trouba was traded to the Ducks in December 2024 and Kreider was traded to the Ducks in June 2025.
Looks like the two haven’t missed a beat.
