Kraken On Back-to-Back
Seattle is set to take on the Kings on Monday, as this is the second half of a back-to-back. Before the back-to-back, the Kraken are coming off a 5-1 win over San Jose, which was their second-straight win.
The Kraken are averaging 3.02 goals per game and allowing 3.15 goals per game. Seattle is 16-21-1 on the road and led by Jared McCann who has 58 points, Chandler Stephenson has 50 points, Jaden Schwartz has 47 points, and Shane Wright has 42 points.
Seattle will start Philipp Grubauer who’s 7-17-1 with a 3.25 GAA and a .875 SV%. In his career against Utah, he’s 2-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .927 SV%.
Utah Continues Homestand
Utah is coming off a 4-1 win over Winnipeg at home on Saturday which got them back into the win column. Tuesday’s game will be the Hockey Club’s fourth of a five-game homestand.
The Hockey Club are set to start Karel Vejmelka who’s 24-21-7 with a 2.53 GAA and a .906 SV%. In his career against Seattle, Vejmelka is 2-5 with a 3.57 GAA and a .885 SV%.

Seattle and Utah will both miss the playoffs this season so there isn’t much for either team to play for this season. Yet, this is a good spot for the Hockey Club to get a win here with Seattle on a back-to-back. The Kraken will have some tired legs, and Grubauer has been incontinent this season. Meanwhile, Utah has been good at home as Vejmelka will limit Seattle’s offense to get the win.
