Kings vs Kraken Best bet: Quinton Byfield Over 0.5 points (-105)
Quinton Byfield is amidst a season-long four-game pointless drought, but there’s reason to believe he’ll break through against the Seattle Kraken.
He’s now skating alongside Kevin Fiala and Joel Armia on a line that has performed well. They’ve controlled more than 56% of the expected goals while winning the shot on goal battle by nearly 20.
Their process has been excellent. They’ve generated more than 3.0 expected goals per 60 minutes, which has only translated to 1.84 goals per 60. That gap should shrink over time, and the Kraken could help bring forward the market correction.
Seattle has an .880 team save percentage over the past 10 games, and starting goaltender Joey Daccord has struggled all season long.
He’s won only seven of 18 starts while posting an underwhelming .891 save percentage. He also enters play ice cold, allowing 16 goals over his last four appearances.
Byfield’s line is driving play at 5-on-5, and he’s also part of the Los Angeles Kings‘ top power-play unit, skating with the best players on the roster like Adrian Kempe, Anze Kopitar, and Kevin Fiala.
He should have plenty of opportunity to take advantage of Seattle’s goaltending and snap this drought.

Kevin Fiala hasn’t scored in five straight games but led the Kings in shot attempts, shots on goal, and scoring chances during that span. Playing on the same line and power-play unit, he correlates nicely with Byfield.
Brandt Clarke has registered multiple shots on target in eight of the last nine and attempted at least four each time out. When filtering games in which Clarke attempted 4+ shots, he has cleared this line at a 75% clip since the beginning of last season.
Kevin Fiala has scored in four of his last nine road games. Find more NHL betting trends for Kings vs. Kraken.
