Juraj Slafkovsky at home is a different beast from the one who hits the highway. The Canadiens forward will pot at least one point tonight against a Kings team that doesn't travel particularly well.
NHL
Juraj Slafkovsky has points in five of his last six games, only failing to get the job done against a New Jersey Devils team that leads the Eastern Conference.
My Kings vs. Canadiens predictions expect Slafkovsky to have a productive night on home ice, where he has historically performed at a higher level.
Let’s break it down with my Tuesday, November 11, NHL picks.

Kings vs Canadiens Best bet: Juraj Slafkovsky Over 0.5 points (-125)
Juraj Slafkovsky surprisingly sits eighth on the Montreal Canadiens in points, but he is slowly climbing the ladder. Slafkovsky has hit the scoresheet in five of his last six games, totalling six points during that span.
Most of his success has come at the Bell Centre, where he has points in five consecutive games. That was the case last season as well, as Slafkovsky recorded a point in 59% of home games compared to 37% on the road.
Slafkovsky has a good chance of extending his home point streak tonight. The Canadiens are working on two days’ rest, so the top line should have extra juice and the ability to play a few extra shifts if needed.
The Los Angeles Kings have also defended worse on the road. They’ve controlled 45.91% of the expected goals in away games compared to nearly 54.57% when playing in Los Angeles.
Slafkovsky and Montreal’s loaded top line should be able to spend more time on the front foot, leading to a productive night.
No top power-play time, no problem. Noah Dobson has continued to churn out points in a different role, producing in nine of 15 games and four of his past five. The Canadiens have scored nearly five goals per 60 minutes of 5-on-5 play with Dobson on the ice at home.
Brandt Clarke has multiple shots in eight of his past 10 games. Montreal gives up more shots to defensemen than any other position and is happy to give up volume on the perimeter, making life easier on Clarke.
Noah Dobson has points in five of seven home games this season. Find more NHL betting trends for Kings vs. Canadiens.
