The Winnipeg Jets head to Crypto.com Arena to face the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday, November 4, and I’ve got my eyes on back-to-back Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck and Los Angeles No. 1 Darcy Kuemper.
It’s been business as usual for Hellebuyck to start the campaign, and my Jets vs. Kings predictions and NHL picks are calling for him and Kuemper to keep scoring in check tonight.

Jets vs Kings Best bet: Under 5.5 (-105)
The Winnipeg Jets and Los Angeles Kings have hit the Under in each of their past four meetings, and as noted, Jets No. 1 Connor Hellebuyck has been up to his usual tricks with a .921 save percentage, 2.34 GAA, while turning away 10.49 goals saved above expected through nine games.
It hasn’t been as rosy for Los Angeles goalie Darcy Kuemper.
He’s posted an .891 SV% and 2.85 GAA, and the Kings have also allowed an uncharacteristically high 3.8 goals per home game to start the season.
I’m anticipating improvement for both Kuemper and Los Angeles, considering he put up elite .933 and 1.67 marks while the Kings allowed the second-fewest goals per game at Crypto.com Arena last year.
Additionally, both goalies are rested.
Hellebuyck hasn’t played since Thursday, and Kuemper has been idle since Saturday.
Jets star Kyle Connor has recorded three or more shots in seven of his past eight games while pacing the team in both shots (36) and attempts (53). He also ranks in the 98th percentile of forwards in shots on goal to start the year.
Turning to Kings winger Adrian Kempe, he skates in a top offensive role and has led the club in shots and attempts over the past three seasons. He’s also second in shots and leading the way in attempts through 13 games this year.
