The 18th Annual Northern Virginia Game-Worn Hockey Jersey Expo occurred Saturday at The Westin Washington Dulles Airport Hotel, Rivanna. This year’s event was one of the largest game-worn expos in the United States, with over eighty private collector and dealer tables showcasing iconic and rare game-worn jerseys and memorabilia.
Bill Bride attended today’s expo and captured the action for NoVa Caps.
The event displayed and sold various Capitals and other team game-used equipment, including, but not limited to, jerseys, sticks, pucks, gloves, helmets, and goalie pads.
The event also displayed and sold other Capitals and hockey-related memorabilia, including tickets, programs, magazines, and more!
Capitals alumnus and Hockey Hall of Famer Adam Oates was a featured guest at the expo.

Very cool to see everything. Didn’t buy anything as I am not really a collector but I enjoyed the history. I think the Joe Snively was most interesting. A really big investment in one player without a huge pedigree. Included his Yale jersey. Hope it works out. Didn’t realize that he was 15 before he was 21 with the Bears. Can you buy Bears’ jerseys for specific players from their shop or is game worn the only option?
Only bad thing is I wish show had website/list of vendors, would like to track down some items from my cousins son Christian Djoos, mainly his first game etc..
If persons were able to contact someone it would be awesome.
The company that resells game worn jerseys for the Caps is MeiGray. Their website is http://www.meigray.com. The contact person for Caps jerseys is Dave Meisel. They still have three game worn Djoos jerseys. One was worn for only one game and there are two others that I believe were each worn for three games. Since they are several seasons old, they will likely give you a decent discount on them. I hope this helps.
Wish I’d known about it.
Thanks, anonymous,I did buy his last rookie year game worn jersey just before Christmas, & almost 3 weeks trying to get UPS to drop off where l could pick up!😂🤣
Hoping to track down ticket from 1st NHL game with Caps (we’re @ home to much loved Penguins!),where he had goal & assist. With it also being Cup year I know diehard Caps fans aren’t letting those go easy.
But will keep hunting.
