The 4 Nations Face-Off kicked off last night with a thrilling overtime win for Team Canada over Team Sweden. Tonight, the United States gets started.
Being held in place of the NHL All-Star Game, the 4 Nations Face Off is a best-on-best tournament featuring NHL players from the United States, Canada, Sweden, and Finland, four countries with the greatest concentration of players in the league.
Team USA will face Team Finland tonight for first place in the tournament standings if the game ends during regulation time; the winner would receive 3 points. Last night, Canada beat Sweden 4-3 in overtime, so they currently have two points to Sweden’s 1.
Below, find everything you need to know to tune in to USA vs. Finland at the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Team USA faces off against Team Finland in the 4 Nations Face-Off tonight, Feb. 13. Puck drop is set for 8:00 p.m. ET.
Team USA vs. Team Finland will air on ESPN.
If you don’t have cable, the best way to stream the 4 Nations Face-Off for free is to use a live TV streaming service with a free trial.
We recommend DIRECTV Stream, which offers a five-day free trial for new subscribers. When the trial is over, you’ll pay $86.98/month and gain access to over 90 live channels including ESPN.
fuboTV also offers a free trial for new users. It runs for seven days, and then you’ll be able to save $5 on your first month ($74.99, $79.99/month after).
While Sling TV doesn’t offer a free trial, you’ll save money on a whole month of streaming rather than just five days free. Sling TV’s Orange plan, which includes ESPN, is currently half off for your first month. Instead of $45.99, you’ll pay $23. If you spring for the Orange and Blue plan ($33 for the first month), just one month will cover the entire 4 Nations Face Off tournament, which runs through next Thursday, Feb. 20.
ESPN+ costs $11.99/month or $119/year and with it, you can watch select live MLB, out-of-market NHL, some NFL and NCAA Football games, plus Formula 1, PGA Tour, tennis Grand Slam major tournaments, and more.
If you want to save a few bucks every month by bundling some streaming services and watching MNF when available, consider the Disney Bundle. For just $16.99/month, you’ll get access to ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu with ads, and for an additional $10/month, you can remove ads from Disney+ and Hulu.
If Team USA reaches the final, it will be played on Feb. 20 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
