This year’s Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) hockey tournaments are drawing to a close, with an exciting championship slate on tap late this week.
At the Division I level, Detroit Catholic Central vies for its sixth consecutive MHSAA title. The powerhouse program faced a scare in the regional final, needing overtime to oust Hartland.
Flint Powers Catholic, the No. 1 seed in Division II, sat atop the rankings for the majority of the regular season. But Brother Rice — the 2023 champion — and Livonia Stevenson make for tough competition.

And in Division III, Cranbrook Kingswood looks for back-to-back titles. But Orchard Lake St Mary’s enters as the No. 1 seed.
The Sporting News gets you set for the Michigan high school hockey championships, with everything that you need to know to watch the event.
The Michigan high school hockey championships at all three levels — Division I, II, and III — can be streamed live on the NFHS Network
The NFHS Network offers prospective customers two basic plans: an Annual Pass ($6.67 per month) or a Monthly Pass ($11.99 per month). Subscribers to NFHS Network can watch high school sports nationwide, live and on demand.
