Pacific Division foes duel when the Flames host the Kings on Prime Monday Night Hockey this week.
Calgary has cooled off following a white-hot 5-0-1 start, though the Flames nonetheless still find themselves exceeding expectations. The success is driven by skaters like Rasmus Andersson, who leads the team in ice time and points, with 11.
The battle-tested Kings hit the road again, a familiar theme in the early season: Having begun the year on a seven-game road trip, Los Angeles has played the most road games in the NHL.
