For the first time ever, the New Jersey Devils will play the Utah Hockey Club at the Delta Center. It’s not the first meeting between the two clubs, however, as the Devils hosted Utah HC earlier in the 2024-25 season.
Amid their five-game road trip, the Devils face the young and exciting Utahn’s—who are on a three-game win streak—once more this season, looking to rebound from a 5-1 shelling at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday.
—The Devils and Utah conclude their first-ever regular-season series (1-0-0).
—Jake Allen earned the team’s first shutout for 2024-25, after recording 20 saves against Utah on Oct. 14, 2024.
—Seamus Casey (PPG/GWG), Stefan Noesen and Nico Hischier (PPG) all recorded goals against Utah on Oct. 14.
