The Utah Hockey Club (16-11-6, fifth in the Central Division) hopes to leapfrog the Dallas Stars (19-13, fourth in the Central Division) in the standings with a win on Monday night.
Dallas has gone 6-8 on the road this year. The Stars won the previous meeting between the two teams on Dec. 2 by a score of 2-1.
Utah is 5-5-4 at home this season, which includes a recent 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks.
