The Vancouver Canucks (32-26-12, 76 points) continue their six-game road stretch with a Monday night clash against Luke Hughes and the playoff-bound New Jersey Devils (37-28-6, 80 points).
Vancouver remains three points behind the St. Louis Blues for the final Western Conference wild-card spot but holds a game in hand. Despite dominating the New York Rangers in shots (39-12) on Saturday, the Canucks couldn’t capitalize, falling 5-3.
Meanwhile, the Devils sit third in the Metropolitan Division, maintaining a six-point cushion over the Rangers with 11 games remaining. However, inconsistency has plagued New Jersey, as evidenced by Saturday’s 3-2 setback against Ottawa.
