“No sticks. No pucks. No goals. No gloves.” Those are the basics for a four-fight card set for Friday night at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, on Friday night as BKFC Ice Wars 3: Bare Knuckle Brawls are set. Combatants will wear traditional hockey uniforms on the ice of the home arena of the NHL’s Florida Panthers with a mix of former mixed-martial arts fighters, boxers and hockey enforcers. Each fight will last at least three rounds and a maximum of five, with each round lasting no longer than 90 seconds and a one-minute rest period between rounds.

The main event features heavyweights Nick Laporte, a Canadian hockey veteran, and Sébastien Lafferière, an MMA fighter from Quebec. Laporte scored a first-round knockout of Matt Dunn in the inaugural ice wars event in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, on June 14.
In the co-main event, former UFC fighter Charles Rosa takes on hockey veteran Reid Krasowski. Both are making their ice fighting debuts while Rosa compiled an 18-8-0 record in various MMA disciplines. His last bout was a third-round stoppage of Peter Barrett at Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA in Biloxi, Mississippi, on Nov. 15.
The night begins with the first ever Ice Wars female matchup as professional boxer Christina Barry squares off with hockey player Valerie Ruley. Barry was 1-4 as a boxer and 0-3 as an MMA fighter and last fought on March 19, 2022, when she lost a unanimous decision to Carolyn Redmond. The other undercard bout features heavyweights Corey Allen, an MMA fighter, and hockey’s Catlin Big Snake. Allen fought twice at BKFC Ice Wars 2 in Enoch, Alberta, on June 28, beating Bryan Gowin by second-round knockout before taking a split decision victory over Colton Hayes. Big Snake knocked out Zach Hughes in the first round at BKFC Ice Wars 1.
